Southwestern College migrates to Diligent Community with immediate impact

Southwestern Community College District, a leading public institution serving over 24,000 students across five campuses and online, has taken a significant step forward in modernizing its governance and administrative processes.

For years, the college relied on BoardDocs for its document management and meeting preparation, but in early 2024, it made the strategic decision to migrate to Diligent Community. The transition process, which took about six months, involved data transfer, system setup, user training and thorough testing, all while addressing IT-related challenges and ensuring data security.

The college's team, led by Myra Lomahan, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent/President & Governing Board, worked closely with Diligent Community's support team to ensure a smooth migration.
