Diligent Board and Leadership Product Tech Specs

The configuration specs outlined in this guide are a reference on the minimum technology requirements to run Diligent Board and Leadership Products (including Boards, Messenger, Questionnaires, Minutes, Secure File Sharing) on all devices. Since Diligent is an Application Service Provider (ASP), minimal IT support will be needed for implementation. The configuration specs below may vary based on method of access and user role, and are based off minimum requirements.

Diligent Boards Access Diligent Boards is accessible through any standard web browser, for both Administrative functions and functions for Board or Executive members. Diligent Boards also has native applications for Windows computers, as well as iPad, iPhone, and Android.

User Role Considerations Administrative users have read and write access to make site changes; this requires using Diligent Boards Web Admin or OneClick. Unlike read-only users such as Board or Executive members, the Diligent Boards admin clients will use more CPU resources to complete tasks. Board or Executive members who use Diligent Boards apps in offline mode will use additional CPU resources as well. The specs below provide the minimum requirements in all scenarios.

Web Browsers The latest stable versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge (Chromium), and Safari are supported.

WindowsProcessor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or System on a Chip (SoC) RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit
WindowsOperating System: Windows 10 with Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5

Tablets & Large Touchscreen Devices

iPadiPadOS 16 Note: Older iPads running earlier iOS versions that can install, or already have Diligent Boards installed, will continue to work. Diligent Global Support will provide assistance for these implementations. Updated versions of Diligent Boards may not be accessible on these devices. Earlier versions of Diligent Boards may not include all current product features.
